At Lonsdale Medical Centre, we work as one team made up of doctors, nurses, and other health experts. This is called a multidisciplinary team (MDT). By working together, we can give you the best care and support for your health needs.
GPs (doctors) – Diagnose, treat, and lead your care.
Physician associates – Work with GPs to check symptoms, examine you, and give treatment.
Practice nurses – Give vaccines, check long-term conditions, do wound care and health checks.
Healthcare assistants (HCAs) – Help with blood pressure, health checks, ECGs and more.
Phlebotomists – Take blood samples for tests.
Clinical pharmacists – Give advice on medicines and check prescriptions are safe.
Physiotherapists – Help with muscle, joint, and movement problems.
Social prescribers – Connect you to local support, such as housing, money, or community groups.
Mental health practitioners – Support people with stress, anxiety, or other mental health needs.
Health and wellbeing coaches – Help you set goals and make healthy lifestyle changes.
Care coordinators – Make sure patients with complex needs get the right care in the right place.
Admin and reception team – Welcome you, answer questions, and guide you to the right service.

Locum GP doctors – we host regular locum GP doctors at the practice and remotely, to cover doctors who are absent and also to bolster the rota.
