We want to care for all patients and only remove someone from our list in serious cases.

Reasons for removal include:

• Violence or threats toward staff or patients
• Abusive or disruptive behaviour
• Theft or damage to property
• Dangerous dogs at home visits
• Misuse of documents or appointments
• Moving outside our area
• Loss of trust between patient and practice

Missed appointments:

• 1 missed: wait 48 hours for a new one (unless urgent)
• 3 missed: warning letter
• 4 missed: may be removed from our list

We keep caring for patients up to 8 days after removal or until they join another GP.
