Mounjaro (tirzepatide) will soon be available on the NHS for weight management. However, it is only offered to those with the highest clinical need through specialist weight management services.

Eligibility criteria:

• BMI over 40
• A confirmed diagnosis of at least four of the following: hypertension, sleep apnoea (confirmed at a sleep clinic), 
  type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or hypercholesterolaemia

Please refrain from booking an appointment with your GP regarding Mounjaro if you do not meet these criteria.
