New Family Planning Service (for Long Acting Contraception coils and implants)
We are really pleased that our PCN (the local network of practices we work with) has secured a new Family Planning service for fitting / removing coils and implants. This type of service has been very hard to access over the last couple of years but we are now able to offer this to our patients. At the moment the clinic is being run every other Monday from 9.30-12.30 at St George’s Medical Centre in Neasden and we are aiming to offer an appointment within 2-3 weeks of referral. If you are interested in this please can you email us at admin.lonsdale@nhs.net or speak to the reception team. The appointments include some telephone appointments with the GP specialist there if you first just wish to discuss first what type of contraception would be most suitable. The longer-term aim is to have this service also run from our site here at the Lonsdale (or Blessings).
