Our “Health Innovation Hub” is a dedicated space next to the reception that we have converted into a group community and consulting space, with a weekly well-being cafe, healthy food sessions, a gym and small group consultations. We have a small kitchen area for cooking groups and classes, a small gym for exercise sessions and demonstrations with our physio’s, a music corner with piano and percussion for music sessions and a warm welcome!
The Health Innovation Hub:
Wednesday Wellbeing cafe which runs 11-1 every Wednesday: hot drinks, company and conversation, great healthy food, often sourdough freshly baked that morning and music, singing and fun.
Group Consultation sessions: we have started running smaller, hands-on groups for patients focussing on specific issues. The smaller group allows more specific information, presentations, bespoke goal setting, and hands-on practical things such as cooking together for healthy eating. An example is Dr Hattons recent Diabetes Group, which started on the 22nd April
Gym: our physio’s can use the gym for one to one demonstrations and help with specific exercises for you. We also run group “chair exercise” classes on the Wednesday Wellbeing sessions.
