Book via reception or on-line to be seen in the evening and weekend at our neighbouring practices


Outside of our working hours, when Lonsdale is closed you can access the Hub service by calling 0333 321 2084 to request an appointment.

District nurses Home visit by district nurse  1-7 days Referral usually made by the GP and is only for patients who are housebound. Problems include post-operative wound care, pressure sores, catheter problems, certain injections, palliative care.

Urgent and non-urgent options possible, depending on the problem.

STARRS  Home visit by Consultant-led STARRS’ team (nurses paramedics physio) Same day For housebound patients with acute medical illness. Specialist acute home care for up to 5 days to avoid hospital admission. Arranged by the Duty GP or Ambulance service or A&E or Urgent Care centres


Health Visitors Several days New mothers are allocated a health visitor – contact details in your baby’s ‘Red Book’. You can call the HV if you need advice about baby feeding issues, growth, colic and immunisations.
